A Purchase Order and tracking codes are created by accountant’s as way to track individual costs, simply because the software doesn’t have a way to track individual costs.
When all costs from Xero and Credit Cards show real time to each project we then have the ability to track further;
PX360 use the contract budget as our way to track project costs. Making it simple and easy for everyone to understand. Through our additional tracking ability matching all costs down to the exact amount to the budget is possible.

- PX360 has been designed with Residential and Light Commercial projects in mind. That being said all the functions can work for builders, developers, Design and Contract Projects as well as larger tradesmen.
  
  If you have projects well suited to these applications where you have supply costs and labour costs that are not as simple to track against the original budget or have a number of moving parts/variations, then PX360 can be well suited to you.

- The best way to explain this you need three things to create a more defined ability to track to a project budget in detail.
  1. Unique Project Code to distinguish the difference between projects.
  2. A Task which makes the Cost or Labour task unique from others. Accountants use Purchase Orders. For PX360 we don’t need to use purchase orders as we already use a Gantt Chart to assist with tracking tasks. This is what we as builders understand and for this reason is the best tracking defined item. For example, Roof Framing or Service Rough In.
  3. What we call Type category. This is if it Materials, Labour, Subcontractor or Equipment.

- Yes we believe that Xero is the best performing and best suited to the users like you. As our integration provides a lot of features which both Xero and PX360 talk to each other for example all types of Cost Syncing, Client Invoice Syncing/creation, employee settings syncing for payroll benefit, labour time sheet export as well as staff leave hours export. We know our integration will give you the information fast, what you need and so you don’t need to double handle it.

- Once your project is setup ready to go and outside of unique project contract administration. There is only Cost Matching to the Budget and Approval of Labour hours. We like to think this would take around 5-10 minutes per project a day. Keeping on top of this makes for an easy day and so much insight into project budget tracking and quick contractor management.

- - We provide a Project Setup Wizard process which sets you up from the start thinking about the project in the right way. Not only for you your project setup provides a quick check or download location for all contract related information. Even your building insurances can be checked here.
  - We don’t have an import style of project setup. The reason for this is that not every quote is ready for how the project is going to be rolled out. This relates to Task types and how the project will be managed from project costs coming into your accounts. We assist with ensuring that this is more streamline for better management. Time saved in a project setup can mean many man hours saved across your contract admin and bookkeeping.
  - If you don’t like much detail tracking, then you can have this done in 30-60 minutes.
For general mid-size alterations and additional that are not architecturally administered you would be looking at 1-2hours. For larger architectural projects you may be 3-5hrs. Depending on how many tasks as how detailed you quote is.
