Accountant and Bookkeepers FAQ
The core of the cost management section within PX360 is through the integration created with Xero accounting software. Through the integration the processes involved for management of project job costs is no difference in what is required for tax purposes. For this reason why double up when we can work together.
Like Xero, PX360 thinks the use of a receipt forwarding software like a Dext or HubDoc are a well worth inclusion into the upfront systems every builder should use. This allows for a more streamline accounts system with speed and less manual entry.
When the use of a project code is applied to a project setup within PX360 this same code will also be active in Xero through tracking categories. If the receipt or bill is allocated to the unique project code this will enable syncing within PX360 and Xero simultaneously.

Using a project code and the power of data syncing
- When you create a new project with a new unique project code and client details this sync with PX360 and Xero. Or select within PX360.
- When a Xero Bill is updated it updates within PX360
- If Credit Notes are created these sync with PX360
- If you use credit card purchases these will update with PX360
- Client invoices can be created in PX360 or in Xero and they sync together.
- Add a new employee into payroll this will be able to be selected within PX360 for Xero Payroll Export
- Fast track your payroll with staff time sheeting and export into Xero. Speeding up your payroll process.
Bookkeeping is now streamlined as long as the project code is applied to any bill or invoice then this amount will come into PX360. Giving the project manager on the project the ability to match this direct to their project budget. Giving a greater level of budget visibility with ability to track down to particular tasks as well as type category in labour, materials, sub-contractor and equipment.
